    The 4-D System for high-performance teams was created by Dr. Charles Pellerin – former Director of NASA’s department of Astrophysics. This concept has been used by NASA since 2001 to guarantee successful project completion by appropriately handling the invisible force of the social context affecting human behaviors. Until today, over 1000 teams from various sectors and industries have been enhancing their performance with the help of this system.

How NASA Builds Teams?

4-D System - control human behaviors

This journey began in 1990, when Charlie Pellerin (the 4-D creator) was in his eighth year leading the Hubble Space Telescope development team in NASA. When the team launched the world’s most anticipated telescope they discovered that it had a flawed mirror. The Failure Review Board reported the root cause - “Leadership Failure”. Charlie then mounted Hubble’s space repair mission, and shortly after he dedicated himself to understanding how social forces affect people and teams.
This was how the 4-D System was born.

4-D Performance Accelerators

The 4-D System is a tool for measurement and control of human behaviors. It defines 8 key behaviors that affect people's and teams performance. With the help of 4-D Development Accelerators (web-based tools) it is possible to measure all key behaviors and to attribute a value to each one of them. By repeating this measurement in time we could track the progress of human development and define learning and development programs.

Over 20 Years of Experience in Leadership, Coaching & Human Development

For more than two decades, Polina Yordanova has been working with people and organizations — not just to build better businesses, but to develop the people behind them. Her journey began at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, where her interest in human potential and inner dynamics first took shape. Later, in leadership roles within multinational IT companies, she experienced first-hand how much the success of a business depends on the inner state, reactions, and awareness of the people leading it.

This insight became the foundation of her work.

For the past 12 years, Polina has been leading her company, Universe Flow, with a clear purpose: to support leaders in reconnecting with their inner clarity, wisdom, and energy — so they can lead in a way that is authentic, grounded, and sustainable. In her approach, leadership does not start with tools and KPIs, but with inner balance, aligned thoughts and emotions, and the courage to show up as you are.

As a Master Certified Coach (ICF), intuitive coach, team development expert, and LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® facilitator, Polina combines scientific understanding with deep empathy and intuitive insight. She has a natural ability to sense what is happening beneath the surface and to guide people gently toward clarity, self-trust, and aligned action.

Participants describe her presence as calm, supportive, and deeply insightful. They value the safe and trusting space she creates, where they can explore themselves honestly, release inner pressure, and grow — personally and professionally. Her work is not about applying rigid methods, but about meeting people where they are and helping them reconnect with who they are becoming.

Polina’s mission is to inspire leaders to transform the energy within themselves so they can transform the world around them — to find fulfillment not only in what they achieve, but in how they achieve it. She supports leaders in bringing more trust, acceptance, joy, and awareness into their work, relationships, and leadership style.

Outside her professional work, Polina draws inspiration and balance from her family life, movement practices, travel, and nature — grounding her coaching in lived experience, presence, and humanity.
